Card-type I/O modules are used in pulp film cleaning lines

Papermaking is one of the four great inventions of ancient China, and its invention greatly facilitated the storage and exchange of information. However, the wastewater, waste plastics, and exhaust gases generated during the papermaking industry cause serious environmental pollution. In the goal of building a beautiful China, we should reduce environmental pollution through multiple steps, including prevention and control, in-plant treatment, and off-plant wastewater treatment

Paper mills generate a large quantity of waste plastics with complex composition, high impurity content, and a lot of pulp. The pulp membrane washing line can separate the pulp and plastics, thereby extruding the pulp into cakes for return to the paper mill, and turning the plastics into particles to continue making finished products. This process saves energy and reduces consumption, effectively improving the quality of the finished products

The pulp film washing line uses a wet separation method. During operation, Siemens controls the drive shaft via an AU7 800 card-type IO module, driving a grinding rotor to rotate powerfully. The pulp moves downwards along the rotor surface, then is thrown against the tank wall from below, and undergoes another powerful movement along the tank wall by the cutter disc. The resulting high-intensity eddies and kneading circulation cause the various paper and plastic raw materials to tumble and rotate circumferentially within the machine, receiving continuous high-intensity impact. The output module controls the shearing action of the cutter disc and the continuous friction between the screen plate and the blades, thoroughly breaking down the pulp into fibers. The fibers are then wetted to prevent cutting and damage, and flow out from the pulp outlet under the screen plate. Impurities such as plastic sheets, adhesive backing sheets, and plastic films are broken down into smaller pieces (not forming debris) and discharged from the slag outlet beside the tank
