The AUPN 8A8DOH is equipped with the Profinet-RT bus protocol and adopts the IO-Link v1.1 specification design, perfectly meeting the standardization requirements of industrial automation. The module features 8 IO-Link interfaces, all Class-A, supporting three communication rates: COM1 (4.8kbps), COM2 (38.4kbps), and COM3 (230.4kbps), which can be flexibly switched according to actual scenarios to meet the communication needs of different devices

In terms of I/O performance, this module is a true "all-rounder": it supports up to 8 DI inputs (PNP type) and 16 DO outputs, with 8 DOs supporting single-channel 2A high-current PNP output for high-power actuators; the other 8 DOs support single-channel 0.2A output, and are configurable (NPN/PNP), compatible with various sensors and control components. Furthermore, the module's DI/DO/IO-Link interfaces can be flexibly configured via software. While multiple protocols cannot be reused simultaneously on the same interface, the diverse combination methods significantly reduce the difficulty of device selection

In terms of power supply, the module adopts a wide voltage input of 24VDC (18…30VDC), and the module itself consumes a maximum current of only 200mA. The system and input signal power supply Us and the auxiliary power supply Ua both do not exceed 8A, ensuring stable operation and achieving energy efficiency. The electrical isolation design is a highlight, with Us/Ua achieving 24V isolation and 0V isolation, effectively avoiding interference and ensuring the accuracy of signal transmission

The AUPN 8A8DOH features a metal casing with an IP67 protection rating, completely preventing dust ingress when bolts are tightened, and can be submerged in 1 meter of water for 30 minutes without affecting normal operation. The module boasts a wide operating temperature range, from -20°C to 80°C for ambient temperatures and -40°C to 85°C for storage, enabling it to withstand extreme climatic conditions such as extreme cold and heat, and making it widely applicable in industrial settings across various regions and industries. The simple and convenient two-hole screw mounting method allows for rapid deployment and reduces construction costs

Flexible expansion to adapt to diverse needs

The AUPN 8A8DOH supports auto-negotiation and auto-flipping, with a transmission rate of up to 100 Mbps. Address allocation follows the Profinet standard DCP, and it has comprehensive topology features and supports ring redundancy (MRP), which greatly improves the reliability and stability of the system and avoids production line shutdowns due to single points of failure

In terms of expansion capabilities, the module achieves bus cascading communication through two M12 D-code 4-pin ports and supports IO-Link 4-level expansion through eight IO-Link ports. However, its rich I/O interfaces and flexible configuration methods can already meet the needs of most scenarios

In addition, the module has comprehensive diagnostic functions: the IO-Link interface is equipped with LED indicators to provide real-time feedback on communication message status; the power supply monitoring function can realize low voltage alarm, and short circuit and overload protection mechanisms can effectively protect the module and external devices, reducing failure losses.
